Why Financial Literacy Matters for Women and Girls
Most women struggle financially, (1) and lack a firm understanding of money concepts and investment strategies.(2)  A surprising number of women and teen girls are in abusive relationships where economic self-sufficiency maybe the difference between violence and safety.(3)  Girls, generally, lag behind boys in financial literacy lending to the vast differential in the personal net worth, business owner revenues, number of CEOs, corporate board memberships, and bankruptcy filings, between males and females. (4)

How FLOW Helps Women and Girls
FLOW helps women and girls gain power and control over their lives through financial literacy programs designed to promote financial education, saving, and asset building.

What FLOW Participants Have to Say

"Thank you so very much for an excellent camp!  My daughter came home everyday enthusiastic telling of what she had learned/experienced in the program. We were impressed and her older brothers jealous. It was a fantastic experience and one that was appreciated by us as well ..."
"The sessions for the parents were informative and fun. My daughter enjoyed the sessions and is putting what she has learned into practice ... I think this program should be available more often and advertised throughout the state."
