Economic Literacy

Picture
The knowledge, skills and confidence to make appropriate economic choices

The global economy grows increasingly complex. FLOW’s economic literacy programs provide the foundation necessary for women and girls to make thoughtful and responsible decisions about spending, saving, borrowing, and investing. Like reading or writing, economic literacy is an essential life skill. Whether young, old, or older, wealthy or barely making it, married or not  – every woman and girl will be faced at some point in their life with the responsibility of managing their financial welfare.  FLOW programs show women and girlshow to handle their money like a “pro” from a position of knowledge, confidence, and financial clarity.

What FLOW Participants Have to Say

"Thank you so very much for an excellent camp!  My daughter came home everyday enthusiastic telling of what she had learned/experienced in the program. We were impressed and her older brothers jealous. It was a fantastic experience and one that was appreciated by us as well ..."
"The sessions for the parents were informative and fun. My daughter enjoyed the sessions and is putting what she has learned into practice ... I think this program should be available more often and advertised throughout the state."
